The Dallas Arboretum Fall Pumpkin Patch 2011

Andrew was very excited about picking out a pumpkin for carving this year! He did not want to take too many pictures because he was busy looking for perfect pumpkins. We ended up leaving with two large pumpkins! Andrew is very excited about carving these pumpkins. We will be carving them the weekend before Halloween!

Andrew was very interested in taking this one home...

Andrew showing us his big muscles by picking up one of the pumpkins he wanted to bring home!

Looking for just the right pumpkin.

Andrew was only interested in looking at this one pumpkin house. The rest of the time he was searching for the perfect pumpkin.

Prince of Peace Fall Festival

Our church had its annual fall festival and Andrew had a great time. There were lots of blow up slides/ mazes for the kids. Andrew played a basketball game for a prize and rode a pony! He had a great time at the festival!

Beards with Bubbles. Rain, Resting, and Painting

Andrew's new way of watching the television is to make himself a little place on the floor with blankets and pillows. He tells me he needs to rest a little.

All in a day's work... Andrew takes advantage of every new day! He painted Halloween pictures for his cousins.

Andrew was super excited about the rain we had one morning, so he insisted that he use his umbrella from Mimi and Pappy. It is a bear umbrella. The umbrella has a permanent place in our car now because Andrew tells me regularly that he will need it in case of rain!

Bath time is a new adventure each night for Andrew. Right now he is really into making bubble beards and bringing his monster trucks and motorcycles into the bath. He washes them very carefully with a lot of soap!

9-11 Heroes Run

This past Sunday was 9-11, so Brad, Andrew, and I participated in a 5K run/ walk to honor all of the heroes who lost their lives on 9-11. Andrew loved taking part in the race. It was a our first family race!

Soccer Tots

Andrew started Soccer Tots this fall! This was his first class and they were working on an obstacle course to build some of their skills. He really likes it! The first class he was in a parent participation class. Then he moved to another class where the parents watch and can assist if necessary. He is enjoying it a lot!

Two Weeks in JH

We had a great visit with Mom, Dad, and Bagel in JH! The weather was beautiful and Andrew had a blast. We had our own photo shoot in Mom and Dad's yard one day! :) I will let the photos tell the story of our visit.

Yummy!!! Smores with Pappy!

Dinner at the club.

Andrew and Bagel! While we were in JH, Andrew wanted to do everything Bagel did... He still is stirring sugar in his drinks because Bagel always stirs sugar in her tea.

ROAR!

Got to see Megan Petersen (now Campbell) and baby Charlotte in JH too! Megan and I will both be having little girls about the same time in November!

Swim time at the pool! We spent several days swimming at the pool. Andrew had a blast and even made a friend while swimming! The water was a lot cooler than our pools in Texas!

Andrew's first horseback riding experience. He was a little scared, but did pretty well. He rode a horse named Vegas!

Andrew thought this wagon on top of the roof was very funny! He kept telling it to get off the roof!

A morning walk with mommy and Pappy! We found this very large rock and beautiful view!

Hanging out with Pappy in his chair!

The next few pictures are of us on a day trip to Yellow Stone National Park and Jenny Lake.
