We spent New Year's Eve at our neighbors' (Grace and John) house. We had a blast. I had one of John's cosmos and that was one too many! They are potent but great!
Andrew did not make it until midnight. He made it until about 9:00 and then went to bed. With the great monitors they make now, we were able to hear Andrew at our next door neighbors house, so we were able to stay until midnight (with a few checks on little doodle bug.)
New Year's Day Andrew had his one year pictures with my friend Bridget. She came to our house and got some great shots of Andrew! He was quite the little ham for the camera. He was posing!! I guess he has a lot of practice with our camera! Ha!
Friday afternoon we headed to San Antonio. We brought Minnie to San Antonio to live with my parents. I am so thankful Mom and Dad were NOT here! Friday night was a little rough. When we got here, we had to take Andrew to the Texas Med Clinic because he had pink eye. Boy does pink eye come on fast! It only took 3 hours and we knew he had it! We got him an eye drop antibiotic and then listened to Minnie cry and bark all night!
Saturday, we were supposed to visit our friends' new baby, but due to Andrew's highly contagious pink eye, we decided they did not need us spreading those great germs around their house too! Instead, we went to PetCo to buy Minnie a fancy new bark collar! My mom said that we should get Mickey (one of their dogs) one too. Minnie and Mickey are the same age and tend to bark a lot! I must say, bark collars are the best! We are now in a peaceful quiet house. Silence is golden! (at times) I think the bark collar might help my mom from going insane! Thanks mom and dad for agreeing to take one the crazy min-min!!
Tomorrow we head back to Dallas. Brad and I both go back to work Monday. We had a wonderful holiday, especially with our big boy, Andrew. Thanks for joining us in all of our new adventures in 2010! Happy New Year!
Here are a few pictures from San Antonio:
(I love these jammies! They say "Trailing a little behind!")
Andrew got so many great new toys for his birthday and Christmas that we had to adjust his play area a little bit! Here is the new and improved play area for a one year old! :) Some of his toys we put up for a little while so he will have some new ones in a few months!
