The Willson Family: Andrew the Adventurist

Andrew is really growing up fast and becoming quite independent. We are still struggling with temper tantrums, but they are improving- a little. I am reading a book called "The Happiest Toddler on the Block". So far, it is pretty good and I will keep you posted if it has life altering effects on my little toddler.

Andrew loves to feed himself, even if it goes all over him! Here he is eating applesauce... I think more got on him than in his mouth.

He loves to be a "big boy" and do things like others do. Lately he has been enjoying sitting in chairs by himself. Each morning, Andrew brushes his teeth in a big boy chair, while I put on his shoes and socks.

Andrew loves time with daddy and reading books (what a little genius- lol!).

Andrew spends most of his time outside playing. He loves playing in the water, dirt, and mulch. He loves to mow the lawn with his bubble blowing lawn mower. Andrew likes bubbles and anything that can get him messy! Andrew and I ride the teeder-todder together too. He loves to help us when we are out in the yard.

On Tuesday, Andrew had an extra special babysitter... GRAMPY! Andrew was so excited to see Grampy this week. Brad and I went to the Dallas/ Spurs game and Dad offered to babysit Andrew. Andrew was carrying Grampy briefcase all around and putting his toothbrush in it. He was running around the house like a crazy child because he was so excited too. He and Grampy played with Minnie and Andrew showed Grampy how he likes to play on the couch... He doesn't need many toys, he can just use the furniture and decorations! He gave Grampy a lot of hugs and kisses while he was here! This is a picture of Andrew going in to give Grampy a hug and a kiss.
