We have been trying to introduce solid foods to Andrew little by little. He is really improving with eating solid foods. Two weekends ago he tried waffles and really liked them. Last weekend he tried pancakes and did not like them as much, but we got a really cute picture of Andrew playing with a pancake. He did enjoy peak-a-boo with the pancake.
Last Sunday we took Andrew to the opening of the AT&T Arts Center downtown. He wore his new Mizzou jogging outfit from Nee and Paw. He sure looked cute! We went to an early dinner at Chuey's and Andrew tried a tortilla. He seemed to like sucking on it best. He sure looks like a big boy in his highchair!
During the week, Andrew got a special delivery from his GREATEST Uncle Kurt and Aunt Nora! Kurt and Nora made Andrew a beautiful frog on wheels that he can roll around. They put TCU on it since I went to college there! GO FROGS! They are currently undefeated!! Andrew really likes to open packages. He also got a Dale Earnhart Jr. outfit from Kurt and Nora. He has a hat, jacket, t-shirt, and shorts! He is all set for racing with his frog! We'll get pictures of him in his outfit soon! I washed it this weekend and need to iron it.
During the week Andrew is always a very busy boy! He plays with his learning walker constantly. He loves to escape his room during naked time to play with toys. He thinks it is funny to crawl or in this case walk around naked in the house. Maybe it's a boy thing....??? He also enjoys climbing in the dishwasher and he has discovered the wonderful sounds that pots and pans make! He really has a new attachment to this frying pan in the picture.
On Saturday night we took Andrew out to dinner. We wanted to try a new restaurant we had heard about... We were really impressed with how good Andrew was, but not too impressed with the restaurant. Andrew is wearing his new outfit from Mimi and Grampy on our family night out! He is getting to be such a big boy!
Today, Andrew went to his first Dallas Cowboy's game! We were in the AT&T suite and the new stadium is AMAZING. It doesn't feel like you are at a football game at all. Rick, Jace (Rick's friend), Brad, Andrew, and I all went to the game. Andrew had a great time! He was holding his arms up when we would say "How Big is Andrew"... "So Big". Then he was waving at everyone and everyone was waving back at him. During the second half of the game, Andrew started cheering when he heard everyone else cheering! It was adorable! We owe a special thanks to Mr. McCorcle for taking the picture of Andrew cheering with Brad. Andrew also sat with Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins... Andrew became a little stressed when he did not know where mommy and daddy were. We are still dealing with a little separation anxiety. Andrew did very well at the game and we were able to stay for the whole game. Everyone had a great time and it was a great way to end the weekend!
