We have a park close to our house, so Andrew and I went for a little visit... I did not know how long we would be at the park, so I packed snacks, water, juice, and milk for Andrew. I also brought the diaper bag... Well, we were there about 45 minutes and then he was ready to go... He drank a little water and a little milk on the way home. Next time I think I will pack a lot less! :)He loved the Merry-Go-Round and the slide. He was not fond of the swing... He cried when I put him in it. It was big for him, so I think he was a little scared. We did swing on a regular swing and he was on my lap. He really liked that. Overall, I think he liked the Merry-Go-Round the best. He would bounce on it and walk around to the different poles. He sat down next to me and let me push it around a little. He liked moving. The park had a lot of sand and he tried eating it a few times. We brought a few balls and threw them around for a little bit.
We will probably go again tomorrow. Maybe he will like the swing better tomorrow!
Then we decided (well, I guess I decided) to make cookies! YUM! Andrew had animal crackers for his snack. I gave him extras (quite a few extras) so he could play with the animal crackers, bowl, and measuring cups. He loved helping Mommy!
I am really enjoying my time at home with him!! I hope the week doesn't go by too fast.
