Happy Fourth of July!

Andrew had his First Fourth of July. It was pretty uneventful and very relaxing for all of us. We went on a family walk and all the Willson's and Stampy (Heather and Carlos's dog) took an afternoon nap! Andrew played a lot with his tool box from Uncle Kurt and Aunt Nora. Brad put together one of his new toys that we received from Jan, Carie, and Chevonne (teachers I work with). It is a Fisher Price "Door" that opens, plays music, has mail, a door bell, a radio, tells weather, sings the abc's, and much much more!! Andrew will be able to use it for a long time. He can play with the door by opening and closing it and he can play with some of the little gadgets on it. He also got very very dirty from all his lunch... He spit a lot of it up while he was playing, so we had to change him a few times. Before we took his Fourth of July pictures, we allowed him to play in his birthday suit. He seemed really happy! He is also sitting up really well. Andrew and Brad spent sometime on his bear rug reading 1,2, 3 to the Zoo by Eric Carle. I had to help Brad understand how to read the book because it does not have words... It has animals and on each page you add the animals from before. Guess it must come from being a teacher! :) Brad and I are watching fireworks on t.v. tonight... We thought it was a little too hot for Andrew to be out watching fireworks, so we stayed in tonight! Tomorrow we are headed to a barbeque, so I am sure we will have more pictures of Andrew to share.

(Okay- I have a disclaimer as Brad laughs at me while I load these pictures... You may notice Andrew has a "shiny" face in some of the pictures. After his bath I put aquafor on his face and dry areas on his head to make sure they do not peal or get scaly... So on these last few pictures Andrew does have aquafor on his face... Aquafor is a miracle. I recommend it to everyone!! I love it for my lips.)

We hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July!
Love,
Brad, Jennifer, and Andrew
