What A Week!

Where to start? From a cold to 3 doctor visit, and a first tooth... we had a wild week! Andrew had his 6 month shots last Friday. We were back at the doctor on Monday because he was not feeling very good! He had a really bad cough and was really irritable. Of course Dr. Yaeger told me it was a little too early to tell if he had a cold or something else. I was just glad to hear his lungs were clear. We ended up back at the doctor's office on Thursday because his cold was getting worse and Brad and I thought he was wheezing. Turns out he is very congested, but he was not wheezing and his lungs were still clear. We were glad to get that news! Andrew also got new stickers for his helmet! He now has fire engines!!!

On Tuesday morning I noticed Andrew had a white spot on the bottom front right gum and shortly later I noticed another white spot on the bottom front left gum. I thought for sure he would be getting a tooth soon. This could explain his irritable behavior. Later Tuesday afternoon I was checking his mouth and sure enough his first tooth broke through the skin (the front bottom right tooth)! Andrew was also feeling a little bit better. The other tooth has not come through yet.
This week Andrew also found out how much fun he could have with the bottom of the couch! He loves to roll right up to it and play with it... Sometimes it is more interesting than his toys!

On Friday my brother, Rick, came over to help us with Baby Proofing... We decided since Andrew is moving around so much, we needed to start making some changes around the house. Our big change was our television. We decided to mount it on the wall... It was a great "plan", but neither Brad or I could do it... We had to call in reinforcement... Rick! Rick was able to hang the t.v. on the wall and run our wires through the wall. Our t.v. looks great on the wall and we could not have done it without Rick's expertise. Andrew enjoyed watching Rick use the drill. He watched from the swing for a little while and then we headed to his room to play because there were too many tools for Andrew to get into in the family room.
